The Itch

If you write, you know what it is.

It’s that tingle in the back of the brain that won’t go away. You see places that beg to be explored. Characters talk in your head and they say things you feel compelled to write down. You laugh out loud in a restaurant because you’re gonna write even if your fingers are grasping a french fry instead of clicking away at the keyboard.

I finished my degree. No fanfare, just…lots of sleep. And the itch I’ve been ignoring and medicating is bothering me again. I have to write. I’ve been writing all along. Most of it was lost in my head, but I still have more.

To those of you who stuck it out patiently, I thank you. I hope to reward your patience with the last seven chapters of Inappropriate Touching.

I’ll be bringing the rest of my fanfiction work out of archive in the mean time.

    1. Thank you very much for your encouragement and interest in my writing.

I would like to get a few chapters drafted (to make sure it’s not a fluke!), and chapter 24 edited. Then I’ll post it, and the others as quickly as I can get them edited.

In the meantime, I’m will repost chapters 1-23 of IT. And put the other stories back up. I hope to blog every day, to keep myself honest about how it’s going.
